Digital Inclusion and Communication

Hannah Goraya is a researcher interested in learning experiences, motivations for learning, public sector relationships with the public and designing services. She will be taking part in our panel session called The Experience Revolution.

Hannah specialises in digital inclusion and communication practices. Between 2009 and 2011 she conducted a two year Knowledge Transfer Partnership research project with Sheffield Hallam University and the four South Yorkshire local authorities of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. This research project considered digital inclusion in South Yorkshire and the role of local authorities in helping to reduce exclusion. Read more »


Ben Page of Ipsos MORI to give Opening Keynote at CITIZEN 2012

Ben Page is Chief Executive of Ipsos MORI and will be a keynote speaker at CITIZEN 2012.

Ben joined MORI in 1987 after graduating from Oxford University in 1986, and was one of the leaders of its first management buyout in 2000. A frequent writer and speaker on leadership and performance management, he has directed hundreds of surveys examining service delivery, customer care and communications. Read more »


Benchmarking Customer Contact

Vicky Sargent  is a Consultant with Socitm and works closely with Socitm Insight on its web, digital, social media and customer access projects – including the annual Better connected survey of council websites, and the Website Performance Improvement service that monitors web usage and performance. She is author of the Socitm Insight report Better served: customer access, efficiency and channel shift, and is working with Socitm to develop online tracking and benchmarking of customer contact activity.
